Our Vision

Our vision is that all Métis Citizens, as they move through their journey of life from infants to Elders, will live their lives as individuals or in families in a dignified, honorable, and respectful way surrounded and supported by the love of their family and community with a deep understanding of their culture and traditional values combined with the knowledge of how the resiliency of the Métis Nation carried them through a history of challenges that they saw as opportunities which is a proud indication of our Legacy.

Our Mission

Advocate for and nurture an Agency environment that facilitates healing and reconciliation for all our Citizens.
  2. Offer family and individual programming and child safety services that are embedded in and delivered with love, compassion, respect and done in a way that all Métis Citizens feel connected to their community and are aware of the value and sacredness of life from infancy to Elders.
  3. Demonstrate consistency in our policies and procedures so that they are reflective of the unique traditions and cultural values of the Citizens of our Region and our Métis Nation particularly in how we care for our families and children.
  4. Ensure all our services are respectful of the diversity of our Citizens in regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, or age; and
